Returns, Refunds & Warranty
We want you to love your new furniture as much as we do. Here's everything you need to know.
Our Commitment to You
At Dockside Teak, we want you to love your new furniture as much as we do! We take pride in offering beautifully crafted teak furniture designed for life on the water and at the water's edge.
We understand that purchasing furniture online is an important decision, and we're here to make the experience as easy and enjoyable as possible. If something isn't quite right with your order, we're happy to help.
Returns & Exchanges
We accept returns on eligible merchandise when a return request is initiated within 30 days of receiving your order.
To qualify for a return:
- Merchandise must be new, unused, and unassembled.
- Items must be returned in their original boxes with all original packing materials.
- All hardware, accessories, instructions, and components must be included.
- Merchandise must be in its original, resalable condition.
- Returns must be authorized by Dockside Teak before being shipped.
A 15% restocking fee applies to returned merchandise.
Special orders, custom furniture, personalized items, and made-to-order merchandise are not eligible for return or exchange, except in cases of verified shipping damage, manufacturing defects, or errors in fulfilling your order.
Return Shipping
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
Since much of our furniture ships directly from our manufacturers, returns may need to be sent to a designated manufacturer or distribution facility rather than to Dockside Teak.
We understand that shipping furniture can be a little more complicated than returning a small package. We're happy to assist with arranging transportation through an appropriate carrier.
If we arrange and pay for return shipping on your behalf, the cost will be deducted from your refund.
Please do not return merchandise directly to a manufacturer or ship anything back without receiving return authorization and instructions from Dockside Teak.

Refunds
After your returned merchandise has been received and inspected, we'll issue a refund to your original method of payment.
Refunds will reflect the merchandise purchase price less the 15% restocking fee and any return shipping costs paid by Dockside Teak on your behalf.
Original shipping and delivery charges are nonrefundable.
Refunds are generally processed within 10 business days after the returned merchandise has been received and approved. Additional time may be required for the credit to appear on your account, depending on your financial institution.
Order Cancellations
Changed your mind? Please contact us as soon as possible.
We will do our best to accommodate cancellation requests before an order has been processed or shipped.
Because many of our products ship directly from our manufacturers, orders may enter processing shortly after being placed. Once an order has been processed, cancellation may not be possible or may be subject to applicable manufacturer cancellation charges.
Orders that have already shipped are subject to our standard return policy, including return shipping costs and the 15% restocking fee.
Special orders and custom or made-to-order merchandise generally cannot be canceled once production or processing has begun.
We'll always do our best to help and will explain any applicable charges before proceeding with a requested cancellation.
Shipping Damage or Incorrect Merchandise
We take great care to ensure that your furniture arrives safely and exactly as ordered. Occasionally, however, damage can occur during transportation.
If your furniture arrives damaged, please report it to Dockside Teak immediately so we can arrange for an exchange or other appropriate resolution.
If you notice damage when your order is delivered, please:
- Photograph the damaged item and any visible damage to the shipping carton.
- Keep all original boxes and packing materials.
- Contact Dockside Teak immediately with your order number and photographs.
- Do not assemble or use damaged merchandise until we've reviewed the issue.
If you receive an incorrect item, please contact us promptly so we can arrange for the correct merchandise to be provided.
Verified shipping damage and fulfillment errors are handled separately from our standard return policy. Customers will not be charged a restocking fee or return shipping costs for these issues.

A Note About Natural Teak
Teak is a beautiful, natural hardwood, and each piece has its own unique character. Variations in grain and color are normal.
When exposed to sunlight and the elements, untreated teak naturally develops a lovely silver-gray patina. This is a normal part of the aging process and does not affect the wood's natural durability.
Minor surface checking, grain variations, and natural weathering are characteristics of genuine teak and are not generally considered manufacturing defects.
